Joe Calzaghe has officially retired from boxing. After a spell as the longest reigning undefeated champion of the world Joe has decided to call it a day!

A FLURRY of punches thrown in the playground generally has just one outcome: detention.
But teachers will soon be instructing their pupils to fight each other – if world champion boxer Joe Calzaghe gets his way.
The two-weight champ – one of Wales’ greatest sportsmen of all time – believes boxing should be a core component of the national curriculum, because of the level of discipline, fitness and concentration it engenders.

Joe Calzaghe is to star in his own official DVD – with a voiceover from Rocky!
Joe Calzaghe – My Life Story, will go on release on November 10 and will include exclusive interviews with his family, previously unseen footage and commentary from A-list celebrities including Rocky star Sylvester Stallone.
The film uses state of the art camera technology to give the viewer Joe’s perspective during his harsh training regime along with an opponent’s eye view of what it’s like to go a full three minutes in the ring with him.
